Alisa is the founder of College Pathway Partners and has been helping students with the college search and application process for over 24 years.  In addition to her both her school-based and private practice students, Alisa has 4 children who all approached college with different pathways.  During this time, Alisa has been a high school counselor at a large, nationally-ranked school, an independent college counselor, and an application reader for UC San Diego.

To Alisa, the partnership with students and parents is the most important.   "Working with students individually is such a joy as I get to experience the process with them.  From the start of the process, learning about the student, their desires and goals, and creating a plan of action with them is so rewarding.  Whether it is celebrating their acceptance or feeling their disappointments, it is truly a partnership." 

To stay current with admission trends, Alisa participates in numerous professional growth opportunities including national and regional conferences. Alisa has a team of colleagues whom she is able to collaborate and consult with for the benefit of students.  The wealth of knowledge and personal approach will allow your family to feel taken care of and supported throughout the process.

Katie has a Master's Degree in School Counseling and extensive experience helping students make post-secondary plans. After spending 7 years working in a high school setting, she decided she wanted to provide a more personalized experience for students. The college planning process is individualized for each student and through launching her college counseling career she is able to provide more personalized support for her clients.

In addition to seven years of assisting students through the college exploration and application process, she has created a curriculum to train school counselors on how to provide college and career services to students. Furthermore, she has been part of the college application review process for the University of California and has extensive knowledge in how college applications are reviewed.
